This Privacy Policy explains how Tabd collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the browser extension, web application, and related services.
We collect information you provide when you create and manage an account, such as your name, email address, workspace details, and billing-related information. When you use Tabd, the service can process call metadata such as phone number, direction, status, timestamps, and duration, along with browser-extension diagnostics and device or connection information.
If recording is enabled for a call, Tabd can also process and store call audio, notes, and generated transcriptions. Workspace owners are responsible for configuring these features and obtaining any notices or consent required by the laws that apply to their calls.
We use information to provide and secure the Tabd service, authenticate users, connect assigned SIP extensions, maintain call history and enabled recording or transcription features, administer workspaces, process billing, provide support, diagnose faults, and understand product usage.
We may share information with service providers that support functions such as hosting, storage, email, payments, analytics, and transcription; when disclosure is required to comply with law or protect rights and safety; as part of a business transaction; or when you direct or consent to the sharing. We do not use this policy to authorize the sale of personal information.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain security and business records, satisfy legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention can vary by data type and workspace configuration. You can submit an account or data request through the contact page; some information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate security and recordkeeping purposes.
Tabd and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or other safeguard, the responsible parties should use an appropriate mechanism for that processing. Contact us for information relevant to your account and deployment.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection concerning personal data. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions. Submit a request through the Tabd contact page so we can verify the request and respond under the applicable law.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier.
We use session cookies (essential for the application to function), preference cookies (to remember your settings), and analytics cookies (to understand how you use Tabd). You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Refusing essential cookies may impair functionality.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
If you have a privacy question or want to submit a data request, use the contact form at /contact and include enough information for us to identify the relevant account or workspace. Do not include SIP passwords or other secrets in your message.
